Review in Rolling Stone, France.
"Blind" gets 3 stars in the May 2006 issue of
Rolling Stone Magazine, France!!!!![]()
Translation:
"An original band formed by Miki Singh, a musician of Indian origin who strives to mix pop, rock, and traditional music such as tablas and sitar. Perhaps the major flaw is the deep experience of the four veterans in his band, who have variously played with acts such as Sheryl Crow and Juliana Hatfield, which sometimes results in lack of depth. But it is very listenable, and though the cultural mix is sometimes tentative, it works as a whole."

Translation:
"Though India is known for its folk music and its prolific movie industry, Dragonfly is here to remind us that rock music is not totally absent, based on this group led by the excellent guitarist and singer Miki Singh and the no less brilliant lead guitarist Peter Parcek, who together formed the band in 2001. Accompanied by some of the best musicians in Boston: Steve Scully on drums, Marc Hickox on bass, and Brother Cleve on keyboards, Dragonfly quickly recorded a debut album recorded between the US and Morocco and started blazing a trail around the globe, especially in Asia and India.
Since then, Dragonfly's second opus, "Blind" has begun its conquest of Europe, particularly France, where Miki Singh made new friends while working on "Longtemps', the latest album from "Telephone"'s Louis Bertignac.
Mixing beautiful melodies over a resolutely rock-oriented base, "Blind" can't help but remind us of some of early Supertramp albums. But even if certain elements musically allude to this musical summit, Dragonfly has a more intimate way of seducing their listeners and to charm their ears with the creme de la creme of musical arrangement and finesse.
The subtlety of the tablas and the irresistible charm of the sitars mix judiciously with a fiery guitar that can lay down rock riffs along with a touch of jazz and even world music, in a beautiful blend anchored in a rock and pop structure.
Well served by a seductive voice, the songs score every time, and a listener must be particularly insensitive to not be caught humming a track such as "Holy Rollers', or "Soulfly" or "Glowing", as they get out of the shower or drive home from work. Gifted with relaxing powers and packaged in a digibook of rare beauty, "Blind" reassures even as it seduces, and it requires nothing additional to establish itself as a complete work for those for whom travel is not just a need for physical absence, but for deeper spiritual wandering. Happy listening."
